When agencies talk about hiring escorts Brisbane-side, the conversation usually defaults to bookings and earnings. The infrastructure that makes those bookings safe is client screening, and the full stack is more involved than most workers realise. Here is what runs before any client reaches the roster.
Step 1, intake form on the client side
Every new client provides: full name, phone number, employer or business name, and either a work email or a verifiable social account. The form is collected by the agency, not the worker. The client knows this from the first message; it is non-negotiable.
Step 2, ID and employer verification
For the ID, we ask for a photo of his driver’s licence or passport (top half showing photo and name, not the licence number). For the employer, we cross-check against public records (ABN lookup, LinkedIn, the company website). The two have to match. About 15 percent of first-time enquiries do not get past this step.
Step 3, blacklist cross-reference
The Australian escort industry has a quiet but effective shared blacklist for clients who have crossed lines (violence, no-shows, payment disputes, harassment). We check every new client against the list. If he is on it, the booking does not happen. The agencies that participate in the blacklist are the ones the worker community trusts.
Step 4, reference from another vetted agency

Step 5, deposit
All first bookings require a deposit. The deposit is paid by PayID to a business account, not to the worker. The deposit confirms intent, reduces no-show risk, and creates a paper trail. The deposit is deducted from the booking total; the worker still gets the full agreed share.
Step 6, pre-confirmed address
For incalls at hotels, the hotel reservation is in the client’s name. The agency confirms with the hotel before the booking is finalised. For outcalls to private residences, we verify the address against the client’s ID (sometimes via property records, sometimes via a quick phone confirmation with the address holder).
Step 7, day-of confirmation
On the day of the booking, the agency confirms with the client two hours before. If the client is unresponsive, the booking is held; the worker is not deployed to a booking we cannot reach the client about.
What gets through
About one in four enquiries reaches the booking stage. The other three drop out at one of the screening steps, either fail verification or self-select out when they realise the screening is real.
This is the unsung infrastructure of safe escort work. Workers see the booking, not the screening that produced it.
